As an almost twenty-year resident of New York City, one of my favorite things to do, now that I live 90 minutes away, is to jump in and spend the day walking the neighborhoods and shooting the characters that make up Gotham. While some say the city has become a watered-down, homogenized version of what once was, there are still so many interesting places to go and unique people to photograph, that it’s one of the world’s greatest canvases.
